These SMS Messaging Terms explain how Fuellox, a product and service of IOTIQ Pty Ltd, uses text messaging to provide authentication, account-security, and customer-support communications to users in the United States, and other regions.
These terms supplement the Fuellox App Terms and Conditions and the Fuellox Privacy Policy.
1. SMS messaging program
Fuellox may send text messages to mobile phone numbers associated with Fuellox-managed business accounts.
Messages sent through this program are limited to:
- One-time login and authentication passcodes;
- Account-access notifications;
- Account-security alerts; and
- Messages relating to support requests initiated by a user, their employer, or an authorised administrator.
Fuellox does not send marketing or promotional messages through this SMS messaging program.
2. Employer-managed enrolment
Fuellox is a business service and is not available for public self-registration. User accounts are created or managed by authorised administrators of Fuellox customer organisations.
In the United States, SMS messages are sent only to company-owned mobile phone numbers assigned to employees or other authorised personnel. Before SMS messaging is enabled, the recipient is informed through their employer’s account-enrolment, employment, or device-use process that the assigned number may receive login passcodes, account notifications, security alerts, and support-related messages from Fuellox.
The recipient acknowledges the applicable notice through their employer-managed enrolment or device-use process. Employers are responsible for ensuring that the mobile number supplied to Fuellox is accurate, is assigned to the intended recipient, and is authorised to receive these messages.
3. Message frequency
Message frequency varies according to login activity, account-security events, and customer-support needs.
Fuellox does not send messages on a fixed or recurring marketing schedule.
4. Message and data rates
Message and data rates may apply. Charges are determined by the mobile service plan associated with the recipient’s company-owned phone number.
Fuellox does not charge recipients a separate fee for participating in this SMS messaging program.
5. Opting out
Recipients may reply STOP to opt out of further text messages from the sending number.
After opting out, the recipient will receive a confirmation message and will not receive further messages from that number unless they subsequently provide authorisation to resume messaging.
Opting out may prevent Fuellox from delivering login passcodes, account-security notifications, or customer-support communications by SMS. The recipient or their employer may need to arrange an alternative authentication or support method.
6. Getting help
Recipients may reply HELP for assistance.
Additional assistance is available through the Fuellox Support Desk or by calling 1300 557 356.
7. Supported mobile carriers
Delivery of SMS messages is subject to the availability and operation of participating mobile carriers and telecommunications networks.
Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Fuellox cannot guarantee that every message will be delivered within a particular period.
8. Privacy and mobile information
Fuellox uses mobile phone numbers and messaging information to provide login authentication, account security, and customer-support services.
Fuellox does not sell, rent, or share mobile phone numbers or SMS opt-in and consent information with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes.
Fuellox may disclose mobile information to service providers that help deliver and support its messaging services, but only as necessary to provide those services and subject to appropriate confidentiality and data-protection obligations.
For more information about how Fuellox collects, uses, stores, and protects personal information, please review the Fuellox Privacy Policy.
9. Changes to these terms
Fuellox may update these SMS Messaging Terms from time to time to reflect changes to its services, messaging practices, or applicable requirements.
The current version will be published on this page with its effective date.
