Some of our customers

At the Coupe

You know what went up the hill. Not which machine burned it.

  • The Coupe Nobody Visits

The tank is two hours from the office, and the only record of what left it is whatever the crew remembers on Friday.

  • The Sheet in the Ute

Filled in from memory at knock-off, photographed once someone has signal, then keyed in at the office days later.

  • The Contractor Settlement

Several crews, one tank, and a settlement built on estimates because nobody could separate who took what.

Introducing Fuellox

Fuel records that work out of range.

Depot systems are built for a yard with a network. A coupe hasn't got one, which is why so much forestry fuel management still ends up on paper. Fuellox is fitted to the pump and talks to the operator's phone over Bluetooth, right at the tank, with no SIM and no network. Each fill waits on the phone and goes through on the drive out, once there's coverage. Then the office sees it, without anyone sending a sheet.

How It Works

Scan the tag, pump the fuel. Back in the cab.

  • An operator scanning a machine's QR tag with the Fuellox app 1. Scan The operator scans the QR tag on the harvester, forwarder or skidder with their phone, and picks the coupe.
  • An operator fuelling from a site tank 2. Pump Once the scan's done, the pump runs and the meter counts the litres. They fuel the way they always have.
  • The Fuellox dashboard showing fills by site and by month 3. Recorded Machine, operator, coupe and litres, with the time and place. No fuel log to fill in.

Fuel Visibility

See fuel costs the way you run the coupe.

Every litre lands against a machine, a crew and a coupe as it is pumped. So each coupe carries its real fuel, contractor crews are separated cleanly, and the off road use your fuel tax credit claim depends on is on the record.

A Fuellox project report: fuel by project and cost centre
  • By Coupe

Put fuel against the coupe it was burned in, so the cost of a block is a number rather than a guess.

  • By Machine

See which harvester, forwarder or skidder is using what, and spot the one burning more than it should.

  • By Crew

Several contractor crews off one tank, each reported separately, so settlement is a report rather than an estimate.

  • By Tax Class

On road and off road use is recorded separately as it is pumped. Your accountant gets the split, not an estimate.

Fuel Theft

A tank in the bush is nobody's to watch.

Forestry tanks and trailers sit unattended for days at a time, well out of sight and often out of range. It is rarely one big event. A ute gets topped up, a fill goes against the wrong machine, fuel leaves over a weekend, and the first anyone knows is a tank that ran dry early. With Fuellox the pump does not run until the operator and the machine are identified, so every litre has a name against it.

FAQ

Questions Forestry Operators Ask

There is no reception at most of our coupes. Does it still work?

Yes. The fill queues on the operator's phone and syncs automatically once they are back in range, and it is backed up on the Fuellox unit itself. Nobody has to wait for reception to fuel a machine.

Our tanks move from coupe to coupe. Does the unit have to be set up again?

No. The unit belongs to the tank and the tags belong to the machines, so you can move the tank anywhere and the fills still land on the right machine and the right coupe.

Can we see how much is left in a tank without driving out to it?

Yes, with Fuellox Level. The dashboard shows the level and you can set a low level alert, so a delivery is ordered before a crew runs dry.

Several crews fill from the one tank. Can that be separated?

Yes. Each machine carries its own tag, so fills separate by crew and by machine without the operator doing anything different.

Will it survive the conditions?

Fuellox HD is the same controller in a weatherproof, heavy duty enclosure made for exposed sites, which is what a tank in the bush is.
