Fuel management for farm tanks
The tank
Few farm tanks have a meter. The fuel goes out on trust.
An overhead farm tank on a stand has no pump and no meter, so fuel goes out on trust and gets worked out later from the delivery dockets. That's a hard way to do the books. A gravity tank can be converted: a 12V pump, a K-24 meter and a Fuellox Portable turn it into a metered one, and with a marine cycle battery and a solar panel it runs with no mains power out to the tank. A ground level tank that already has a pump just takes the meter and the unit.
