Q: If someone in your industry was considering Fuellox, what would you tell them about your experience?
A: It has definitely been a worth while investment for our business.
Q: Could you summarize in one or two sentences the main benefits Fuellox has brought to your business?
A: The main benefits our business now has by running the fuelox system is the added layer of security knowing who,where,when has accessed the diesel tanks and what machine diesel has gone into. The other main benefit is being able to quickly and accurately report fuel tax credits.
Q: What industry is your business in, and what type of equipment or vehicles does your team operate?
A: Civil Construction/Mining – all earthmoving and transport equipment
Q: How large is your operation in terms of fleet size, geographic reach, and number of fuel-dependent assets?
A: We currently have 52 assets
Q: What are some of your main challenges around fuel management prior to using Fuellox?
A: We ran a paper based system from our bulk fuel tank which was only as good as the people filling it out.
Q: What specific issues were you facing with fuel management that led you to seek a solution like Fuellox? (consider aspects like fuel theft, fuel tracking inefficiencies, high fuel costs, or usage and compliance issues.)
A: Before Fuellox its was basically unregulated which opened the door for potential fuel theft.
Q: What features or capabilities were you specifically looking for in a fuel management solution?
A: Controlled user access and low fuel level reminders have helped simplify our supply issues
Q: Can you describe the onboarding or setup process? Was there anything particularly smooth or challenging?
A: It was very easy to implement as we had a new tank being built and David worked with the tank builder to ensure the setup was correct
Q: How long did it take to fully implement Fuellox, and who from your team was involved?
A: It did take a few months for some of our ‘older’ drivers to get there head around the technology but was very easy after that
Q: Were there any unexpected benefits or improvements that Fuellox brought to your business?
A: It definitely helped us with ordering bulk diesel with the low level feature
Q: Have you seen a return on investment since implementing Fuellox, and if so, how would you describe it?
A: Its hard to know as we don’t have any data pre Fuellox
Q: How would you describe your experience with the Fuellox support team?
A: David is always available on the phone if something is required and as he built up the business he knows exactly how to handle/assist with every aspect
Q: What future goals or initiatives do you have with Fuellox in mind?
A: Adopt Fuellox system to our ute based tanks to further improve security
